Security and GDPR

European, from hosting to AI.

Your screenshots show your software, and sometimes your customers. Oghamix keeps them in France, blurs them before they are shared and only uses a European AI by default. What goes out is up to you.

  • Hosted in France

Application, files and backups with a French hosting provider, in France.

  • European AI by default

Mistral for text, voice and translation. Another provider if you prefer, or no AI at all.

  • Automatic blurring

Email addresses, phone numbers, IBANs and names are detected on screenshots and blurred, videos included.

  • Isolated data

Each workspace is isolated; private workspaces and controlled sharing on Team.

  • Role-based permissions

Administrators, editors and viewers: everyone can only do what their role allows.

  • Controlled sharing

Demo restricted to the workspace, password-protected link, expiry date; never indexed by search engines.

  • Secure sign-in

Encrypted passwords, two-factor authentication (mandatory for our team), one active session per account. Extension tokens are revoked whenever the password changes.

  • Retention periods

Names of learners coming from an LMS erased after 13 months, a 30-day bin, inactive free workspaces deleted after 3 months and two reminders.

  • A lightweight extension

It only records during a recording you start yourself, and only the tab you choose.

Where is the data hosted?

In France: application servers, files and backups are with Scaleway, a French hosting provider.

Does the AI see my screenshots?

To write the text, the AI receives the screenshots (with blurred areas already masked). By default this is Mistral, a European AI. You can choose another provider, or switch the AI off entirely: the text is then written from the labels you clicked.

Who can see my demos?

Members of your workspace, according to their role, and the people you give a link to. A demo can stay private, be password-protected or expire on a set date. Even when shared by link, it is never indexed by search engines, screenshots included.

How long do you keep learner data?

When a demo is launched from Moodle or LTI, Oghamix receives the learner's name and their identifiers in the LMS. These are kept, along with their quiz answers, for 13 months after their last view, then erased; the statistics remain, without a name. If you disconnect the platform, they are erased straight away. The name does not appear in the addresses of the demo's files either.

Can we delete our data?

Yes: a deleted demo goes to the bin for 30 days, then disappears along with its files. Each user can delete their own account from their profile, unless they are a workspace's only administrator. On request, we delete your whole workspace, files included.
